In the United States, you can legally own a weapon, but the minute you protect yourself in self-defense, even home defense, you’re putting your future at risk.
You need to know one thing upfront: shooting someone in self-defense can and will have a massive impact on your life beyond just the initial incident. That is traumatic enough. But it is an unfortunate reality that we as legal gun owners face- that even when you are 100% within your rights, the system really isn’t in your favor.
Criminals, those who break into homes and are confronted by CCW holders, have sued the homeowner before.
USCCA insurance is a type of insurance that protects you from day one. If you use your weapon in self-defense, the insurance will allow you to hire a lawyer, defend your case in court and never have to worry about going broke in the process.
Your USCCA membership also provides multiple plan choices, so you can choose the right level of coverage for you and your loved ones.
USCCA Membership Plans
USCCA is more affordable than most competing insurance plans. This includes CCW Safe, US Law Shield and the former NRA Carry Guard plan.
You’ll also benefit from significant member benefits, such as free training and support that NRA and other plans fail to offer.
Prices are cheaper per year, and the coverage is much higher when choosing USCCA.
Three main levels of protection are available:
Gold – $22/month

If you’re not satisfied with the service, you’ll be able to cancel at any time during the year and receive your money back. The customer service is fast and courteous, allowing you to receive your refund without pestering or trying to cling on to you like the typical insurance companies try to do with their customer retainment policies.
Is USCCA Worth It?
Yes 100%. USCCA has rave reviews (including with the Better Business Bureau), and provides you with peace of mind that if you use a firearm to protect yourself or your family, you will have solid protection afterwards.
The one thing people are scared about as gun owners is not being able to pay for civil defense or criminal defense costs.
CCW insurance lessens the blow by allowing gun owners legal protection and financial protection. You may go to court, you may be deemed a criminal, but with CCW insurance, you’ll have coverage for:
Self-defense should never leave you in a financial bind that you can never escape. When you join, you’ll have concealed carry insurance with coverage for everything.
You can sleep well at night knowing that you have insurance to protect your life with an ironclad policy.
But don’t take my word for it. You should take the word of other members that have had insurance for years and know that insurance is a must-have for all gun owners.
Reviews truly help consumers understand the value of the products and services they’re buying. When you look into any form of CCW insurance, you’ll find that reviewers will give you the inside scoop on what a policy is really like.
After all, most insurance companies are known for trying to nickel and dime consumers any chance they get.
The reviews from around the world that are most convincing are:
I can see losing everything I worked so hard to obtain lost if I choose to defend myself or my family. USCCA is the best choice I’ve made as a gun owner – Bennie M.
Gun owners are labeled as vigilantes all the time. I know if I ever have to use a firearm to save my life or the life of a loved one, USCCA is by my side – Sean Hannity.
I refuse to ever feel helpless. A thief pulled out a gun when trying to rob kids playing basketball. I jumped on top of my wife and child to shield them. I applied for my license to carry and obtain insurance shortly after – Jim D.
USCCA taught me techniques to carry, train and be safe when handling a firearm. You guys taught me things I would have never learned anywhere else – Frank M.
If you’re an armed citizen, you cannot afford not to join. I pay around $1 a day for coverage and love the magazines and Self-Defense SHIELD – James M.
When you become a member, you’re part of a community that provides continued education and support. You’ll also have a 365-day, 100% money-back guarantee. Any firearms owner that knows that he or she will use their firearm when their life is on the line simply cannot afford to ignore the wealth of benefits and coverage offered by USCCA.

But the resources above are free, so it doesn’t hurt to read through them and further educate yourself as a firearms owner.
Does USCCA Charge Tax?
Yes. States will have their sales tax collected where applicable. Members will only be charged tax when the goods and services offered by USCCA are taxable. There may be times when state laws change, and if the taxes increase, you may find new taxes when you’re in the middle of a membership or subscription.
Do They Share Information With the Government?
Your privacy is important to USCCA, and they will not share any of your information when you join or when you sign up for any of the free educational material that the company offers. USCCA is not a government agency, so they will not provide any of your information to the government.
But everyone with a concealed carry license is already known by the government.
Even if you purchase a firearm through an FFL, the government already has your information. USCCA will work to keep your information private if it is requested by the government. Your information will not be handed over without a fight, but the company can only fight back so hard against the government.
USCCA will do their best to keep your information private from the government, but there may be times, for example when ordered by a judge, that the company will be legally required to divulge your information.
Gun owners will not have their email address or other information shared for your protection.
